A look at what is taking place in Mercury Bay this year

‘Somewhat Musical – A Musical History of the 1900s’ Exhibition

Aug 22, 2023 | Past Events

Our exciting new exhibition will open on Monday 4th September 2023 and its all about MUSIC!!

Music has definitely changed over the last 120 years – from the music we listened too, to how we listened to it and which instruments were played.

Our organ takes pride of place along with other instruments that entertained in the past. Take a look at the wall with some of Aotearoa’s famous musical history.

Can you play a tune?? To connect our two exhibitions – ‘Somewhat Glassy’ & ‘Somewhat Musical’ we have created an interactive bottle playing space for young and old a like.

But be in quick as this exhibition is only on for a limited time!
