Saltspray and Sawdust, the most comprehensive history of Mercury Bay, a beautiful illustrated book containing a lot of valuable oral history. This sought-after publication is currently out of print and the museum is undertaking a reprint.

DVD; Twelve Days. A movie with a good sense of humour, made by the Mercury Bay Museum, about the 12 days Capt Cook was anchored here and gave the bay its name after successfully making measurments of the transit of Mercury.
